Buying and selling Stuff Wanted in Laleham and Shepperton Green, Kingston upon Thames

Buying or selling stuff wanted in Laleham and Shepperton Green, Kingston upon Thames? These few checks make for a smoother deal.

Most private sales go smoothly, but a little preparation protects both sides. As a seller, accurate photos and an honest description save everyone time and avoid disputes later. As a buyer, you're never obliged to buy on the spot - a genuine seller won't mind you taking a moment to check an item over properly first.

• Compare the asking price against similar listed items - prices far below the norm are usually a red flag.
• For bulky items, check access and delivery/collection arrangements before agreeing a price.
• Test any electrical or mechanical item thoroughly rather than taking the seller's word for its condition.
• Agree collection or delivery details in writing (message/email) so there's a record if anything goes wrong.
