Buying and selling For Sale in Godstone, Old Coulsdon, London
Shopping for for sale in Godstone, Old Coulsdon, London on Adsquare? Here's what to look for before you hand over any money.
Most private sales go smoothly, but a little preparation protects both sides. As a seller, accurate photos and an honest description save everyone time and avoid disputes later. As a buyer, you're never obliged to buy on the spot - a genuine seller won't mind you taking a moment to check an item over properly first.
- Ask for recent, clear photos from multiple angles, and check they match the actual item, not a stock photo.
- For anything with a plug, ask to see it switched on and working before you buy.
- Meet in a public place for cash sales, or use a traceable payment method for higher-value items.
- Ask whether the item is still under manufacturer warranty and whether a receipt is available.
