Finding Commercial Property in Grumbolds Ash with Avening, Gloucester

Whether you're renting, buying or letting commercial property in Grumbolds Ash with Avening, Gloucester, here's what to look out for.

If you're buying, a survey is worth the cost even on a property that looks move-in ready - problems that aren't visible on a casual viewing can be expensive to fix once you own the place. If you're renting, read the inventory carefully and photograph the property's condition on move-in day.

• For rentals, ask which deposit protection scheme will be used and get it in writing.
• Confirm the council tax band and who's responsible for which bills before signing anything.
• Read the tenancy agreement or contract fully - don't rely on a verbal summary from the landlord or agent.
• Be cautious of listings priced noticeably below similar properties nearby - it's a common scam pattern.
