Finding Property To Share in Thames Ditton, Kingston upon Thames

Searching for property to share in Thames Ditton, Kingston upon Thames? A few checks before you commit can save you a costly mistake.

If you're buying, a survey is worth the cost even on a property that looks move-in ready - problems that aren't visible on a casual viewing can be expensive to fix once you own the place. If you're renting, read the inventory carefully and photograph the property's condition on move-in day.

• Confirm the council tax band and who's responsible for which bills before signing anything.
• Read the tenancy agreement or contract fully - don't rely on a verbal summary from the landlord or agent.
• Be cautious of listings priced noticeably below similar properties nearby - it's a common scam pattern.
• If a landlord or agent refuses an in-person viewing, treat that as a warning sign.
